Our Estate Riesling “shocking good….”

23rd February 2016 We are very happy that Stephen Reinhard from the Wine Advocate rated our Estate Riesling “shocking good….” “The 2014 Riesling Trocken (Estate Riesling in the US) shows a ripe, pure and spicy bouquet with a stunningly deep character. Full-bodied, piquant and grippy on the palate, this is a serious Mittelhardt Riesling with a long, fairly powerful and salty finish. This is shocking good Pfalz Riesling for a handful dollars. It has been sourced from Wachenheim and all the top vineyards (1ers and Grands Crus) and is made entirely from own grapes. Predominantly fermented in stainless steel. The 2014 is one of the best series I have tasted at this biodynamic domaine for a very long time. Probably I have never tasted a similar worthy Riesling portfolio here. All the wines are worth seeking out. If I must name my favorite dry Estate Riesling of 2014, the Bürklin-Wolf's has the greatest chance to be the one. All the wines are lovely, precise, fresh and so expressive and at the same time -- perfectly balanced and moderate in alcohol. You shouldn't miss the 2014 Bürklin-Wolf Rieslings. “ ![]() Here is the total list of ratings for wines at CWS stock for your information:
