Domaine Devillard

This is a story which goes back for many centuries : a love story between a family and the vines of Burgundy. Château de Chamirey, built in the 18th century and still used as the family house today, overlooks the whole area of Côte Chalonnaise.
In 1934, Marquis de Jouennes, father-in-law of Bertrand Devillard and grand-father of Amaury and Aurore, produced his first bottle of Château de Chamirey. This was the start of a long and beautiful story….
Step by step, the family has become a major actor in the Burgundy wine history. The members of the Devillard family have decided to work together and to take care of their 3 estates. They insist on preserving the individuality of each estate:
• Château de Chamirey - 37 hectares (90 acres) in Mercurey, 15 (37 acres) of which are classified Premiers Crus

• Domaine des Perdrix - 15 hectares (35 acres) in the best « terroirs » of Nuits Saint Georges and Vosne Romanée. Almost 6 hectares (15 acres) are classified Premier Cru and Grand Cru among which the famous « Aux Perdrix », a ‘Quasi-Monopole’.

• Domaine de la Ferté - 5 hectares (12.5 acres) planted with Givry Village and Premier Cru “La Servoisine” A large and unique offer in Burgundy

• Domaine du Château de Chamirey, Domaine de la Ferté, Domaine du Cellier aux Moines in Côte Chalonnaise

• Domaine de la Garenne in Maconnais
