Domaine Sérol

On the foothills of the Massif Central, the 200 hectares of Roanne vineyard are situated in the roots of the Loire river. The soil, a mixture of granite and porphyre, as well as the climate correspond perfectly to the local vine: Gamay Saint Romain. Family property fsince the 17th century, the domain Sérol cultivates 27 hectares of vines from 5 to 80 years old. It produces red and rosés which reveal all a personality different from the gamay.

Full of freshness and very drinkable, most of the wines are cultivated in tanks. The fragmented wine makings and the manual grape harvests allow a full expression of the terroir. The domain is certified organic farming on the vineyard of Blondins and the domain Sérol follows the charter “Terra Vitis ". "Les Blondins" is a very special cuvée, it is the fruit of a common passion between two great men that are Robert Sérol and the Michelin Chef, triply awarded Pierre Troisgros.
