Bellavista

In the North of Italy, among the Franciacorta hills, Bellavista brings new energy to the world of wine. Protecting nature, promoting biodiversity, lending dignity to working the land, communicating the values we have inherited to the next generation: all this is "Air your wine”, energy that fuels the future of Bellavista.

Bellavista was founded in Franciacorta in 1977 by businessman Vittorio Moretti who decided to transform a small family-run winemaking activity based on a few hectares of vineyards into a full-fledged winery. For the very beginning he made sparkling wine for himself and his friends.

In 1981 Vittorio Moretti met oenologist Mattia Vezzola, who in that same year joined the company. His role proved pivotal to the definition of the Bellavista style. In 2007, Mattia Vezzola's key contribution was recognized by the Guide to Italian Wines, issued by Gambero Rosso-Slow Food, which honored him as “Oenologist of the year”.
